白云山
When it comes to Guangzhou, the city renowned for its vibrant culture and stunning landscapes, one cannot fail to mention the iconic Baiyun Mountain. Often referred to as "Baiyun Zhuhai" in local parlance, this moniker pays tribute to the city's signature landmark. The term "white" in this context refers specifically to the majestic peak of the mountain.
Located in the northern part of Guangzhou, about 17 kilometers from the city center, the Baiyun Mountain scenic area comprises nine mountains in the southern region, known colloquially as "the first mountain in the south". It is said that during autumn, clouds often rise, wrapping one side of the mountain in a veil of white, thus lending it the name.
Baiyun Mountain clusters 30 peaks together, covering an area of 28 square kilometers. The highest peak, Mount Davis, stands at 382 meters above sea level, making it the tallest point in the city of Guangzhou.
Guangzhou, a captivating city, has been my home for ten years. Unknowingly, I have spent a decade immersed in this city's charm. "Eating in Guangzhou" as it's often said, the culinary delights here are numerous, often leaving me in a state of blissful indulgence. The barbecued pork package is a particular specialty here. So, if you visit Guangzhou and haven't tasted its food, it would be quite embarrassing to say you've been here.
广州不仅拥有众多特色,其中广州塔便是其一,而伍仙坡、陈家祠等地方,都值得一游,一览其独特魅力,我深爱着这座城市——广州。
